Olga Mozgovenko
Client Success Manager, Mercaux
Following the success in Spain and Italy, Mercaux hosted their first discussion group dinner for Russian clients in Moscow.
Executives from a range of leading Russian retail companies were happy to meet each other and exchange their plans for next year and market developments in a friendly setting.
The discussion was inspired by our recently published annual report “Pulse of Retail — Store of the Future 2020” and challenges the retailers are facing on their path to in-store digitalisation.
Among new features our clients are planning to bring into their brick & mortar stores next year are Omnichannel, Clienteling, and big screens for Self Service.
The retailers acknowledge that some of the new functionalities & scenarios are pretty ambitious and require the resources of multiple teams. Still, in order to keep up with ever-changing demands, it is their only way to capture customers who have become more digitally-oriented and seek an offline experience that is closer to e-com.
